Jumbo started as an internal tool for shipping responsive images without a pile of build steps. It turned out other teams had the same problem, so we turned it into a small, dependable edge network. No dashboards you need a manual for, no surprise bills — just a faster hostname in front of your assets.

How it works

You point a Jumbo hostname at your existing origin — object storage or any HTTPS server. We cache and optimize responses at the edge node closest to each visitor, generate modern formats and responsive sizes on demand, and keep originals untouched. When you change a file, a purge propagates across every region in seconds.

Where we run

The network currently spans six regions across Europe, North America and Asia, including our Frankfurt node (de-01) that is serving this page. Regions are added as traffic grows; routing is automatic, so there is nothing to reconfigure when the map changes.
